Undefeated

For sneakerheads on a pilgrimage, lo and behold, here is your Mecca. Undefeated is world renown for its top quality sneaker collection and unbelievable collaborations. With six storefront locations including LA, Vegas, and Tokyo, Undefeated has a huge presence in the custom sneaker business. One of the founders, James Bond recently contacted me and asked me to collaborate with them on an art installation. James informed me that he was a huge Iverson fan and wanted to showcase one of my pieces from back in the day. The shot in particular was taken almost 8 years ago on the staircase of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It is black and white image of Allen dribbling the ball up the stairs that sylvester Stallone made famous in the movie Rocky. The image was unveiled last week in their LA store on S Labrea. I am very stoked to have my art hanging in this store. I can't tell you how many times I have been in their and gazed up at that wall to see some of the illest photography. Now I am up on that wall sharing some of my work. I have to thank my good friend and fellow photographer Logan Muszynski for snapping this pic for me. New Website

Myself and assistant Marcus Smith have been meeting with a team of award winning web experts in Australia to build a brand new website for Gary Land Photography. This website will have a ton more functions and all the bells and whistles of the website I have always wanted but never had the time to pursue. We have been having Skype conferences late at night going over progress and making changes. We will be live sometime in April of this year. We have also been working on 10 new custom built portfolio cases which are beautifully designed and will hold 4 books that will be digitally printed and perfect bound. Each book will be custom tailored to meet future clients needs. Stay tuned!

Coke and Nascar

I have been blessed this year to have worked on numerous Coke shoots meeting and working with amazing people and traveling to different parts of the globe. This is a campaign we shot earlier this year and is finally running. It features Nascar drivers such as Jeff Burton, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Elliot Saddler, Denny Hamlin, Greg Biffle, David Ragan, Bobby Labonte, Clint Bowyer, Joey Lagano, Jeff Burton It is just a sample of what we shot for Coke. Every once in a while I get the urge to break out one of my collectable toys and shoot them in different environments. These shots were plated using a Gundam figure which was shot in the studio and images that I took at an airplane graveyard in Arizona.

Nike, Empire Tested

Was in NY shooting once again for Nike and Relevent. This time we were there to shoot two highschool teams, Rice and Christ the King for posters to advertise an upcoming game or should I say event. The two teams are NewYorks finest ball clubs and one of the biggest highschool Rivalries. The game took place on Feb 7 at Christ the King and was possibly one of the best highschool games in recent times. click on the link to read more about the game. Adidas World Cup Barcelona

We are in Barcelona for part two of the epic World Cup production for 180 Amsterdam and Adidas. I had to have most of our equipment shipped from the UK considering how much we needed. We are running two separate sets in one studio utilizing 38 Broncolor Grafit A4 packs and 36 BiTube heads to give us maximum flash duration. We are currently prelighting for Messi who will show up tomorrow. Here is what the set currently looks like.
